Garden of the Paws Pet Market and Spa Centennial Colorado

Centennial Colorado's Garden of the Paws Pet Market and Spa.

Hello everybody, David Novak here. I thought we’d take a little break from everything that’s going on in the world here and not so much discuss anything that is real estate related because right now that’s really not really what everybody wants to hear. And I thought we’d have a little a fun today and also showcase small business because right now more than ever, small businesses need your support. And me personally, coming through the 2009 financial crisis, I went through this myself so I want to reach out and help out these small businesses. And so today I thought it’d be fun since all of us are housed with our pets at home, our pets need supplies too and everything. So I thought, hey, we’ll showcase a great pet store here. And here today I have Blake with Garden of The Paws and I just wanted to open the floor up to him so he can give you a rundown of what he’s doing to help you guys out during these times. So the floor is yours Blake.

Thanks Dave.

Yeah. Just please give us first of all your location and everything so everybody knows where you are.

Yeah. Garden of the Paws is located in Centennial at the corner of County line and Colorado Boulevard. We’re a full-service grooming with a holistic approach to fine foods and treats for your four-legged furry friends. We are considered essential during this COVID-19 thing that’s going around. Unfortunately we had to cut our groomers because they were not considered essential. What that means is you can’t go get a haircut and neither can our dogs. So that being said, I am still here. We are still selling food. We’re fully stocked as a matter of fact. And we also offer guidance with nutrition, proper nutrition, for your dog or your cat. We also have supplements and it’s a really fun place to come and hang out. I’m often told it’s very Zen here.

We all enjoy coming in and helping people with their dogs, and their cats, and that’s about it.

Yeah. And do you service more than just dogs and cats? Do you have supplies and such for other pets for people?

We actually do. We have a chicken feed, organic chicken feed for those people in Centennial, which there seems to be a lot of them, that are growing chickens and having eggs in their backyard. So yeah, we sell organic chicken feed as well.

Yeah, and so with the way things are right now, if people need supplies and so forth, how they go about coming in and get supplies from you right now?

Well, that’s a good question especially right now because we’re following the six foot distancing rule here at the store. We’ve got a piece of tape up at the front register that measure of six foot back.

We also do curbside delivery. If you want us to bring your food out to your car, we can certainly do that, or bring it out to the curb and have you pick it up. What you do, you just call in, let us know what you need. We do the shopping for you and then we bring it out to your car for you.

All right, well yeah. Then it sounds like it’s a pretty easy process for people and also a safe process for everybody. So there shouldn’t be any issues there. Yeah. Well it sounds like, people should be able to get out there and get what they need. And I guess right now do you have anything you want to add?

They do give a little bit of entertainment while they’re here. Either we’re doing dance acts here for them while we keep our six foot distances.

I’ve got a nice looking lady here that does her white girl dance for our customers. Her name is Delisa. And then we also have Sphinx cats for people who come in and see. These little guys, I have four of them running around the store and they entertain the customers getting out of their house to get food. So we have a lot going on here to entertain our customers, and interact with our customers, and our nice phone manner during these challenging times that we’re facing. So it’s all about coming out, having a good time when we come to get your food and let us help you.

Yeah. Well and right now everybody needs to have a little fun right now. So it’s refreshing to hear and see all of that. And I know best that Delisa gets that cat out. Everybody loves to see the cat.

So glad you were able to put one of them on live here cause I know everybody loves to see the cats. So anyway. Yeah, well, like I said, I appreciate you coming on today and again, I want you to tell everybody again, when we finish this up, just how to get you. And then also I will put your website out there too so people can check you out there online and so forth and get your information there. But before we go, just please give me your address, and phone number, or any other way to get ahold of you so people can stop by.

Yeah. Anytime you want to stop by, our hours as of today are 9 to 3, Monday through Saturday. Sunday we’re closed right now. That may all be subject to change beginning next week. We may extend the hours a little bit depending on need for our customers.

We’re located at 8230 South Colorado Boulevard in Centennial, and if you have any questions at all, feel free to call us on our main line. That number is 303-927-6117 and Dave, thanks for having me I really appreciate it.

Hey, I appreciate you coming on. Again, it’s just refreshing these times to talk about something else like pets like most people want to talk about. So you have a good day and everybody else out there, you do the same and stay safe out there. And again, Blake, thanks again and we’ll talk to you soon.

All right, see you later Dave.

All right, see you later.
